As a guy born and raised in the rural area of China, I really want to emphasize the #Cultural Bias# side of the conversational AI (CAI) product. In my hometown alone, there are about nine dialects, and some of them are so significantly different from others that in the first two weeks of my high school life, I didn’t know what some of my fellow classmates were talking about.

For the CAI products like Alexa or its counterpart products from Google, Apple or Baidu, how will them make the modern life inclusive for cultural minority is a hidden challenge rarely raised in both academia and the industry.
